Now, I've find out, that Faust isn't as hard as it seems at first, you just have to hang on to its main idea.
Up to now, I've seen some themes such as critics from a point of view from "above" to mankind. Some of them are related to corruption, evilness and hate.
One motif (a theme that is repeated various times through story) is the deep desire of Faust to own the Spirit's higher knowledge.
